Dominican State sentenced to pay US$45 million

An international arbitrage court headquartered in London, has ordered the Dominican State to pay US$45 million after they lost a lawsuit of the Concesionaria Dominicana de Autopista y Carretera (Codacsa) because they did not deliver the guarantees for the financing of the construction of the San Pedro de Macoris-La Romana highway and the denial of the authorization to install a toll plaza on the highway. The sentence also affects the operation of the toll plaza on the Las Americas highway. P7
