Felix Bautista returns today to the SCJ for a decision by the Attorney General
SD. The judge of Special Instruction of the Supreme Court of Justice, Frank Soto Sanchez, is prepared to continue today, at 9:00 a.m., the hearing of a request to remove the oppositions (embargoes) placed by the Attorney General of the Republic against hundreds of property assets attributed to Senator Felix Bautista.

The magistrate invited the parties to present their arguments with respect to the process.

The Attorney General presented a list of more than 155 property assets with closed shares belonging to the Inmobiliaria Rofe S.R.L. Corporation and other companies which have an alleged relationship with the legislator and Secretary of Organization of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).

The lawyer for the defense, Juan Antonio Delgado, said that the Attorney General of the Republic violated the principle of separation of functions, due process, the presumption of innocence and the dispositions in the Penal Process Code, which require that when dealing with embargoes or coercion of this type, since they are restrictions to the right of property, he has to appear before the judge of control so that the judge can issue the order.

"The object of this discussion is not to incorporate boxes of documents, because they only have to incorporate, my dear prosecutors, one document," said Delgado referring to the decision that orders the precautionary measures of opposition to the property assets.
