Isa Conde appointed in Mines; Bido in Ethics and Paulino Sem in Migration

Isa Conde appointed in Mines; Bido in Ethics and Paulino Sem in Migration
SD. President Danilo Medina appointed last night the new heads of the Directorate General of Migration, the Ministry of Energy and Minds, the National Frontier Council, and the Directorate General of ethics and Governmental Integrity, in substitution of Ricardo Taveras Blanco, Pelegrin Castillo, Nolberto Rondon and Marino Vinicio Castillo, leaders of the National Progressive Force (FNP), who abandoned the Government last week, because they oppose the plans to modify the Constitution in order to reestablish reelection.

By means of Decree 113 - 15, the Executive appointed as Minister of Energy and Mines, Antonio Isa Conde to replace Pelegrin Castillo; in the same decree Petruska Muñoz was appointed deputy minister of that entity.

In the meantime, decree Num. 114 - 15, Major General Ruben Paulino Sem, the former Army chief of staff, was appointed Director General of Migration in substitution of Taveras Blanco and José Joaquin Bido Medina, a member of the Political Committee of the PLD, substitutes Vincho Castillo who resigned, in the Commission of Ethics and Governmental Integrity.

Also in the same decree, Donny Santana Cuevas was appointed chairman of the National Frontier Council in substitution of Rondon, and Major General Gerardo de los Santos Mora, a deputy minister of Defense was appointed to replace Paulino Sem.

Other appointments

The decree 116 - 15 by President Medina appointed the new governors of Montecristi, Monte Plata and Hato Mayor: Marcelo Cordero, Hector Delgado Valdez and Manuel de la Cruz, respectively. At the same time, in Decree 115 - 15, Vinicio Tobal Ureña was appointed the new deputy minister of Foreign Relations.

Also, in other decrees the President appointed new vice consuls in Paris, France, Florida, and Massachusetts, and also in Port-au-Prince and Cape Haitian in Haiti and several sub directors in different institutions.
