Senasa initiates of affiliation of domestics

SANTO DOMINGO. The executive director of Senasa reported that they will prepare starting tomorrow and simultaneously places for affiliation in the stores of La Sirena Churchill, at the store in El Embrujo in Santiago, Higüey, Moca and Bani in order for domestic workers to be able to request their inclusion in the subsidized regime.

The registration booths will be open from Thursday to Sunday between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. This effort will extend during the weekends of 21 - 24 May; 28 - 30 May and 4 - 7 June.

During the first weekend of the start of the process of affiliation of the domestic workers and their direct dependents to the Subsidized Regime, the offices of the National Health Insurance (Senasa) received 621 persons, of which 64.5% were domestic workers that reside in Greater Santo Domingo.

The others went to make their applications in the offices located in Greater Santo Domingo, and in the provinces of Monte Plata, Santiago, Mao, La Vega, San Francisco de Macoris, sun Pedro de Macoris, Barahona and San Juan de la Maguana.

The Senasa offices around the country are open all weekend until 7 June between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

President Danilo Medina ordered the affiliation of 50,000 domestic employees and their direct dependents.
