AILA. President Leonel Fernandez and the First Lady Margarita Cedeño de Fernandez returned last night after the President finished an official visit to several European countries.

The Chief of State arrived at the AILA terminal on flight 6501 of Spain's Iberia Airline, at 7:10 p.m. in the evening, accompanied by an entourage of Dominican officials and businessmen.

On his trip Fernandez visited Spain, Rome, France and Belgium, where he met with different personalities, including the King Juan Carlos of Spain and the president of the Spanish government Mariano Rajoy.

At the terminal the President was received by a welcoming committee led by the Minister of the Armed Forces, Lt. General Joaquin Virgilio Perez Feliz, the Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier Garcia, Ramon Rivas, the director of the Dominican Port Authority, the Chief of the National Police, Major General Jose Armando Polanco Gomez, the chief of staff of the Dominican Air Force, Major General Gilberto Delgado Valdez and others.
