Barrios say crime is down

SANTO DOMINGO. The population perceives that crime has gone down considerably over the past two weeks, and they called upon President Danilo Medina to keep the military on the streets and helping the National Police to carry out patrols.

"We deserve to live in peace and the problem of security was not attended by the past administration because of political affairs and to face it now costs a lot of sacrifices," he pointed out.
