Escogido turns the capital red

SANTO DOMINGO. The Leones del Escogido celebrated yesterday with a kilomerters-long caravan their 14th Championship in Dominican baseball. The huge caravan wound through different sectors of the capital where they received demonstrations of support from their fans. From three flatbed trailers full of ball-players, club officials and team sponsors, the Reds painted the areas they traveled through in red and finished off the day with a fiesta at the "Half Orange" with music by the Hermanos Rosario.
