Miuca will change its name and elect its candidates in October

SANTO DOMINGO.- The Congress of Leaders of Miuca decided yesterday that the political organization will be known as "Miuca Action for Change".

At the same time, the XIII Convention granted special powers to the Board of Directors, to the president of the entity, on order for them to discuss everything relative to the alliances needed to participate in the congressional and municipal elections that will be held next year.

It was decided that the candidates would be decided by October at the latest, in accordance with the election regulations that will be decided in August. Also, it was agreed to carry out political and social opposition to the group that is currently in power, "an essential target of our criticism." The board decided not to make any agreements with any party that is not popular, progressive or leftist.
