Moreno proposes an opposition bloc to get PLD out of government
The candidate of Alianza Pais says it is the time to defeat corruption in high places

SANTO DOMINGO. The presidential candidate of Alianza Pais (AlPais) Guillermo Moreno, announced last night that in the coming days he would convene a Roundtable with a diverse group of political, social and citizen's sectors in order to push for the construction of an "Electoral bloc for the democratic change."
Upon delivering a talk to the country, through a network of radio and television, he suggested that the Roundtable should coordinate actions that "permit the creation of the most important unit, the union with the workers, with the producers, with the women, with the young people, merchants, communities of Dominicans overseas, professionals, the elderly, the disabled and with the unemployed."
The presidential candidate of AlPais said that the moment has come to defeat "the highly placed corrupt, the people with double standards, without shame, liars, simulators and those whose words are no good."
Likewise, he said: "In order for the citizens to take on the change of course requires a leadership with social commitment, honest, with democratic convictions, capable, and above all that will not trick them once again, that he be coherent between what he says and what he does."
Moreno indicated that everyone has a lot to lose if they let the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) continue in government.
