Small businesses will pay taxes

The Tax office has announced that they have approved tax teams this year for small businesses.

SANTO DOMINGO. The Taxation office (DGII) has spoken about the approval of various tax teams for the invoicing of tax in small and medium businesses to be installed in a major way during the rest of the year, in the first stage in the National District and Santo Domingo province. 

The fiscal teams will operate as Fiscal Printers, which are more practical and economical, but they will comply with all of the requirements established in Decree 451-08 or the Rules of Fiscal Printers and with Law 253-12 about Fiscal Reform.

The Regulations for Fiscal Printers, as issued by Executive Branch Decree 451-08, establishes that all of the contributors registered as Physical or Legal entities, whose commercial activities consist of the sale of products to Final Consumers are obliged to used Fiscal Printers.
